Gender Transitions in the Workplace

       Debra has coordinated dozens of successful transitions through out the country.


       20 years experience as a presenter and educator on transgender issues. (over 1,100 presentations and workshops)


       32 years experience as a teacher and educator in public education.


      She coordinates the entire process, start to finish, with information, examples of documents and letters needed, to presenting the actual workshops for management and employees, including hand out materials.


       When she does presentations, the "elephant" is in the room and everyone can start to deal with their own feelings when interacting with a person who has also changed genders.


       She successfully transitioned herself in the Minneapolis Public Schools - one of the first successful transitions in the nation of an educator working directly with children. She speaks from experience.


       You can ask her to talk about all the questions you have, that are not appropriate to ask the person who is transitioning - and she can speak from her own experience.


       She takes the process out of the "therapeutic context" and places it only in the context of "respect in the workplace."


       She is a fraction of the cost, of two attorneys going head to head in a workplace discrimination litigation.
